In the compare view, two columns of search results are displayed: search engine order is shown on the right, and intent order (for the currently specified intent) is displayed on the left. Clicking on one of the results will highlight the result in both columns and two icons will appear along the center line indicating the relative location in the respective lists (particularly useful in the case the corresponding result is displayed on a different page).

Clicking on an intent icon will change the display order in the left column to correspond to the newly specified document intent.
